Do my visitors need Telegram?
No. Visitors chat on your website without installing an app or creating an account. You reply from Telegram or the dashboard, and they read your answer in the same chat.
How do I add it to my site?
Create an account, copy your embed code from the dashboard, and add it to your site. Connect your Telegram bot to receive messages there. You can also reply from the dashboard.
Does AI answer my customers?
AI can draft replies in the dashboard. You review and send them. It can also turn a conversation into a draft ticket for you to confirm.
How does the widget affect page speed?
The small loader runs without blocking HTML parsing. It loads the chat when the page is idle or a visitor first interacts. The widget keeps its styles separate from your site's styles.
Can I customize the chat?
Yes. Set the accent color, title, and greeting to suit your site. Choose a developer, support, founder, sales, or feedback preset. Pro lets visitors choose between several in the same widget.
Can I start a conversation with a visitor?
Yes. The dashboard shows active visitors. You can send a message while they are on your site, then keep the conversation together in the same thread.
What happens after someone reports a bug?
Create a ticket from the conversation and confirm the AI draft. On Pro, you can send it to a coding agent through GitHub or your own runner. Review the work, deploy it, and check your live site. Only after you confirm the fix is live does chatwithdev send the linked visitors a fix notification.
How does the free trial work?
New projects get 14 days of Pro free, including unlimited messages. Afterwards, the free plan includes 5 customer messages each month. You are only charged if you choose a paid plan. Telegram, dashboard replies, and ticketing remain included on the free plan. Paid plans start at $15 per month.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, from your billing settings. You keep your paid plan until the end of the billing period, then return to the free plan.
